After starring together in her "You and I" music video, Gaga, 25, finds a love connection with Vampire Diaries and Shameless actor Taylor Kinney, 30. Though she remains mum about her relationship, she does admit to InStyle that she and Kinney have double-dated with his Shameless costar Emmy Rossum. "It was all very normal, and [Rossum] is so nice," the singer says.

A 'Born' Leader

Using her influential power to better the world for her Little Monsters, Gaga teams up with her mother Cynthia Germanotta to establish her Born This Way Foundation, which aims to build a braver, kinder world that celebrates individuality and inspires bravery in young people to work toward a more accepting society. "I'm doing everything that I can, working with experts, really studying the statistics to figure out a way we can make it cool or normal to be kind and loving," says the singer, who has said she was bullied in school.

Sweet Charity

In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy's destruction along the East Coast, the native New Yorker pledges $1 million to the American Red Cross to aid relief efforts. "If it wasn't for NYC: the Lower East Side, Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn, I would not be the woman or artist that I am today," she writes on her website.

POP Goes Gaga

The "Applause" singer releases her third album, ARTPOP, to mixed reviews, but PEOPLE music critic Chuck Arnold writes, "Her third proper studio album only goes further to show that she has crafted a pop image – as a walking, breathing piece of art – that goes far beyond the music. The album tops the Billboard albums chart with an estimated 260,000 copies sold in its first week.
